Nutty Buddy Cookies


1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup almond butter

1/2 cup maple sugar (not syrup, the sugar form which is small balls of maple syrup)

1 egg (free range organic if possible)

2-4 Tbsp. of your favorite nuts and seeds (I used almonds, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds)

Make It

1. Preheat oven to 325*F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper, or reusable silicon baking mats.

2. In a medium bowl mix together nut butters and maple sugar. Once the sugar has blended evenly with the nut butters add the egg and mix again until completely mixed.

3. Fold in nuts and seeds until gently combined. Using a Tablespoon drop balls of the cookie dough onto a pan. Makes 12-14 cookies. gently press a fork into the cookies and bake for 10-15 minutes or golden around the edges. Time will very depending on your oven and how large you made your cookies.

4.Allow cookies to cool for at least 2 minutes or completely cooled.They may crumble if they are picked up before completely cooled.
