Homemade Mascara
This is such a simple way to add a healthier beauty routine to your daily life. Using simple, sustainable, natural products. Your eyes will tank you

What You Need
Clean Mascara tube. (you can take your old one and wash it out using a light soap, and wash the brush as well)
Small plastic bag
Vitamin e oil- 1 tsp.
Charcoal-15 ml or 3 capsules
Coconut oil- 1 tsp coconut oil
Aloe vera- 3 tsp.
Bees wax or soy wax(for a vegan option)- ½ tsp.
Make IT
In a heat proof bowl place 1 tsp. vitamin e oil, 1 tsp. coconut oil, ½ tsp. bees wax.
Place bowl over a pot of lightly boiling water. This will allow all oils to mix evenly. Once oils have melted down evenly, add aloe vera gel. Mix gel evenly. Add activated charcoal and mix again until no clumps remain, and charcoal is mixed evenly.
Cut a tiny hole out of the corner of the plastic bag. This will make adding the mascara to your mascara tube, MUCH easier. You will want to add the mascara mixture to the plastic bag and slowly and carefully squeeze the mixture into your tube. You can also use the brush to make the filling easier.
This mascara keeps for about 2-3 months. Because it is natural things may need shaking every now and then, and make sure to check for expiration regularly. Apply as you would a normal mascara. And don't forget to flaunt those beautiful lashes.
