Basic Bean Salad

serves 4-6


* 1 can green beans

* 1 can yellow beans

* 1 can kidney beans

* 2-3 stalks of celery, chopped

* 1 medium onion, chopped


* 3/4 cup sugar

* 1/2 cup vinegar

* 1/4 cup olive oil

* pinch of salt

Make It

1. Strain and rinse all beans and place in a bowl, wash and chop celery by slicing it length wise and chopping into small pieces and add to bean mixture. Chop onion and add to mixture.

2. In a separate bowl combine sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and whisk until all sugar is dissolved. pour dressing over bean mixture.

3. Mix the salad until well coated in dressing and everything is incorporated. Chill mixture in fridge for about 30-60 minutes before serving. Use a slotted spoon when serving.
